Cathy was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi and grew up in Meridian, Mississippi. After traveling for five years with her husband, Craig, and living in Deerfield, Illinois for two years, she and her family moved to Longboat Key in 1973 after a two-week vacation on the key. They lived at and managed the family-owned Longboat Key beachfront resort called The Golden Beach—now known as The Wicker Inn.
Cathy entered real estate on Longboat Key in 1978 as a property/rental manager, and earned her Florida real estate broker license in 1983. She was broker/owner of her own well-established real estate company from 1983-1996. During her real estate career, she has earned Condominium Association Manager Licensure (CAM), Graduate Realtor Institute designation (GRI) and e-Pro, Web 2.0 and Social Media certification. Cathy's newest designations are SRES - Senior Real Estate Specialist, RSPS – Resort and Second-Home Property Specialist and SFR – Short Sales & Foreclosure Resource.
Cathy has received numerous awards for top productivity and superior service. She has earned Top Producer and membership in the President's Circle, Chairman's Circle and Executive’s Circle.
